Challenge and Adversity Are Meant to Help You Know Who You Are. Storms Hit Your Weakness, but Unlock Your True Strength – Roy T. Bennett

Adversity, something that will eventually find its way to all of us.  Sometime, someway, whether we are ready for it or not.

But it’s in those difficult and challenging times that our inner strength is revealed.  It’s said that you never really know how strong you are until strength is your only option.

Know that the challenges you might come to face will not be yours alone.  No matter how unique you might think your struggles are, be reminded that there are others who at some point have faced something similar.  Seek out their wisdom and their story.  Allow their journey through and past adversity to give you the strength and encouragement to know that you can too.

Be encouraged by the knowledge that storms never last forever.  That the wisdom and inspiration needed to overcome is always close by, just waiting to be sought, and that the strength for triumph will always be there, harbored within.

Stay optimistic, stay hopeful, stay expectant.

  1. I really enjoyed your article… and agree that our challenges are our greatest teachers. They can help teach us what we are capable of handling and also teach us that there’s no need to go through these experiences alone. Learning that others can become valuable resources when we are in doubt or think we’re the only person experiencing it is new but valuable lesson I’ve learned myself. Also that theirs may not have been the same type of circumstances but there is also a good chance it was the same type of adversity to help provide valuable advice.

  2. Very nice article. Thank you!

I agree as well, that the challenges we face help to shape what we do in the future.
I believe something that is often ignored is the FACT that everyone is going to face some form of challenge.
It will happen, sooner or later.

If it is accepted that you’ll be challenged, then when that time comes, you will be better prepared to learn from the experience.

Accepting that life will challenge you, is the first step in learning from your experiences.
