Enjoy the Satisfaction That Comes From Doing Little Things Well – H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Accomplishing major goals is always number one on our life’s to-do list. When we hear the word ‘success’ we usually don’t think of small victories, but rather we think of the large ones. In fact, when many of us do have small wins, we tend to either blow them off completely, labeling them as pure luck, or we only consider them for a few quick moments, soon turning our attention to other matters.

We need to learn to enjoy all of our accomplishments and understand that they are all incredibly important. By constantly being successful at the small things in life, we build our confidence and in turn, we will begin to see that we can also be triumphant in bigger ways as well.

For so many of us, we find it upsetting that what should be so simple, can be so difficult. That is why we need to celebrate when we overcome our obstacles. Just because someone else may not see the importance in what we are achieving, does not mean that we’re not doing something wonderful. Take pride in all of your accomplishments, whether they are big or small.

About B.G.

Hi. I enjoy writing and sharing my experiences with others. For many years, I have struggled with anxiety and know how difficult it is to deal with something so seemingly limiting. My hobbies include: writing, reading, watching TV, and working hard to get through my anxiety. I hope that through my writing I can help others realize that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can overcome their obstacles! I currently have blogs at www.gettingthroughanxiety.wordpress.com and www.restinpieceblog.wordpress.com - In addition, I am the author of the fantasy-horror novel, Rest in Piece and short story collection, Abstract Clarity.

  1. Very VERY good point. I’m learning about the value of the positive ripples we create. By just being out best selves. You don’t have to be famous to be the one who influences the world. “Let it begin with me.”
