Every Day Is a New Day, and You’ll Never Be Able to Find Happiness If You Don’t Move on – Carrie Underwood

We all have to go through hard periods in our lives. Maybe we deal with issues involving family, friends, finances, or circumstances far out of our control. If we’re lucky, we overcome these hard times and move on to a new chapter.

However, moving on can be easier said than done. Sometimes the past can creep up on us in unexpected ways – if we were betrayed, we may become less trusting. If we made a mistake, we may feel unable to take any new steps. Fears and ruminating can leave us stuck in the past, while time doesn’t stop moving forward.

Understanding that we need to move on from the past can be the first step to a happy, fulfilled present. This lets us take action to move on – whether that means focusing on a new project, talking to someone, or changing environments. If we’re honest and proactive throughout our journey, past issues do not have to follow us through life.
