When we’re young kids on the playground, our friendships mean everything. Our friends made us happy to go to school for the day. Then we would often go home and continue to talk to them about every little thing on our minds.
As we get older, these friendships can be harder to maintain. We don’t have as much time to spend chatting on the phone. We don’t see many of our friends at our jobs. And it can be easy to lose contact over time.
Some friendships may come and go – that’s just how life works. However, for the friendships that are meant to grow and last, don’t forget to keep contact whenever possible.
Friendship will continue to be a bright light in our lives if we let it. Friendship is what lasts when romantic love may burn out. Friends will be there to comfort you when times get tough and celebrate with you when something exciting happens.
Don’t forget to maintain these relationships, and your life will be brighter and filled with adventure in both good times and bad.
