Are you pleased with your current situation, or do you feel almost damned by it? What would you change if you had the chance?
And what would you say if I said you can change it – that it’s all in your power, and that you can change anything into whatever you want? Would you believe me?
The truth of the matter is this: your present is a reflection of your past, meaning that what you have thought in the past – what your focus has been – comes up in your present self and your present life; your life is almost completely controlled by your mind and thoughts.
I know it’s not easy hearing that you, in a way, caused that bad knee you’re struggling with, or that you’re the reason you don’t have enough money to pay those bills, or that you can’t find a decent job or a loving partner. But that’s the cold hard truth, unfortunately – for all of us.
If you’re willing and ready to change it, though, you must turn inwards. Turn to your mind. What thoughts circulate in there? Are they affirming or degrading? Are they positive or negative? Loving or mean? This will make a huge difference for your whole life and the quality of it – just those little thoughts in your mind. That’s why you should be so careful with what you feed your mind with and what you allow it to think. Only let the good stuff slip through, and you’ll see an enormous change in your quality of life.
