A Dream Doesn’t Become Reality Through Magic; It Takes Sweat, Determination, and Hard Work – Colin Powell

You’ve heard it before – nothing good happens without hard work. Maybe this seems obvious, but with everything going on in our lives, it can sometimes be easy to forget.

As lovely as it would be to just wish something would come true, only to find that it does, it’s not a common occurrence. As unfortunate as it is, there are no magical lamps that we can rub in order for a genie to grant us our hopes and dreams. We need to work hard.

Working hard does not mean rushing ourselves. Striving to accomplish our goals does not mean leaping into facing our fears head first. We can take our time and take small, beneficial steps that we choose and that we are comfortable with. All we need in order to succeed is to channel our strength and determination. From there, we will reap amazing rewards!

About B.G.

Hi. I enjoy writing and sharing my experiences with others. For many years, I have struggled with anxiety and know how difficult it is to deal with something so seemingly limiting. My hobbies include: writing, reading, watching TV, and working hard to get through my anxiety. I hope that through my writing I can help others realize that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can overcome their obstacles! I currently have blogs at www.gettingthroughanxiety.wordpress.com and www.restinpieceblog.wordpress.com - In addition, I am the author of the fantasy-horror novel, Rest in Piece and short story collection, Abstract Clarity.
