I’ve heard a lot of people say that a life without challenges, isn’t much of a life at all. Maybe that’s true. As hard as it is to accept, challenges make us smarter people and in a way, push us to work harder towards our goals. However, I would love to not have to deal with a lot of the challenges that I do; love to not struggle so much. The cold hard truth is though, that I do struggle sometimes and because of this, I have to set goals in order to get through these issues.
If I didn’t set goals in order to work through my anxiety and other issues, then my life would be ruled by my anxiety and that is exactly what I am trying to avoid. Yes, I still stumble and yes, I still struggle, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not still trying every day. Without trying to reach a mindset that is not filled with worry, my life would be dry, stale, and near to impossible to live healthily. Think about it. If I didn’t try every day to get through these obstacles that lie in my path, my life would be so controlled with anxiety, that it would become dry, stale, and almost impossible to get through. I don’t want a life that is boring or a life where anxiety continues to pull me down.
Additionally, we all need to set goals for our future. Not only am I speaking of goals that will help improve our behaviors and our outlooks on life, but also goals that will help us find a career that makes us happy.
To be truly happy, we have to search within our heart and find something good and healthy to do with our lives. We need to find something we enjoy, something that we can say that we are proud to be a part of. Personally, I want to be a writer. I want to write fiction and spread the joy of a story. Also, after writing my blog and writing articles, I want to write about what I know and share my story with others. This makes me happy, to be able to reach people by using my talents. I know that writing will make my life exciting and I know that it will help me breathe life into myself and, hopefully, others.
You need to find what makes you happy. It should be something that you enjoy, something healthy and good for both you and the world around you. Without water, we would not be able to live, and without goals, we would not be able to live happily.
