“Thank you,” the words spoken for gratitude. Many of us say these words multiple times a day. Sometimes out of habit, sometimes out of intent. Some of us say it in our prayers, and some of us say it in our morning rituals. But after it is said, are we EXPRESSING our “Thank You” or are these two words only a part of our polite vocabulary?
Although, politeness is an important “lead by example” model, “thank you” is often times forgotten when the action speaks a different language.
Gratitude is in the action. The words, “Thank you,” serve as a preface to how we express it.
Giving, helping, being kind, and sharing love. DOING gratitude allows for others to FEEL what this word means, and what better way to say “Thank You,” than to give it as a gift with our actions. BE grateful, BE gratitude.
