As With Most Things in My Life, I Believe You Should Try to Enjoy Yourself and Never Feel Like You Are a Slave to a Routine – Donatella Versace

Sometimes, every new day feels like the same thing over and over again. We go to school or work, we do chores, we run errands, and we go to sleep. Then we wake up and do it all over again. It’s way too easy to fall into this routine of a predictable schedule, but when I catch myself in this rut I realize just how dissatisfied I am.

And that’s when I remind myself how many opportunities are truly around. There’s the opportunity to befriend your coworker you make brief small talk with every day. There’s an opportunity to bring friends together for a trip to a baseball game nearby. There’s an opportunity to start a new hobby or sport if you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone.

However, if we don’t look around, it’s easy to feel like these opportunities don’t even exist. But they do, so don’t be afraid to grasp onto something unfamiliar.

  1. Falling out of routine may not require extreme change and so we really can alter our routine for our good. Thank you.
