Ask Yourself If What You Are Doing Today Is Getting You Closer to Where You Want to Be Tomorrow – Unknown

Your daily habits are steering you, moving you along toward a final point of destination.  Are you going to be satisfied with the route you are following?

Our daily actions, no matter how seemingly small and insignificant in the moment, have added consequences.

From the time you get up in the morning, to the minutes you spend before bed scrolling through social media or watching tv – all actions accumulate.  Some slowly, some quickly, some show their results instantly, some take years, but they always show up.

Look today at your daily actions, are they helping to steer you to where you’d like to end up in 5 years, 10 years time?  The tiniest of adjustments today can result in major destination changes in the years to come.

  1. Mindful actions for a better tomorrow

  2. What we do in the present opens up a path in the fabric of reality. Any forward movement is like opening portals into your future. So what we choose to do now, is indicative of the reality we will find ourselves in later.

  3. I would like to think so! Thanks for the motivation

  4. Problem is I do not know where will I want to be. I think I am floating like a driftwood. I wanted to be a scientist became a science manager. Lost my job. Now do not know what to do?

    • Think about the skills you are good at and the skills you would like to develop in yourself. Work on building those. Learn something new. Network with other people. If you want to be a scientist, go to scientific meetings a a local university, or national/international locations and meet people. Ask them for advice. Identify what you would enjoy by being a scientist and see if that can be found in an alternate setting.

  5. Yes so true. This is something that we need to keep in mind on a daily basis to help us reach our goals.

  6. Thank you for this timely reminder. It is a theme that has surfaced in my life recently.

  7. This is truly inspiring.!! Its about time we all take things seriously and start working towards where we wanna end up tomorrow.A nice dose of motivation.
