As humans, we have been granted the abilities of choice and change. We are not forced and required to endure a certain situation for our entire life, like a tree. If you are starting to feel down because you’ve been suffering through a tough period or find yourself stuck in some harsh soil, it’s time to remind yourself and realize that you hold the power of choice and change. Sometimes we go through periods in our life where we simply forget that we indeed have a choice. No, it might not always be easy, but it is possible. Don’t allow your emotions or mind to convince you that it’s not possible to change. Don’t allowing yourself to be influenced negatively by the actions and circumstances of others or the outside world.
Sometimes it’s a good idea to take some time and do a full-scale assessment of your life and ask yourself some questions. Is what I’m doing, where I’m at or who I’m around, helping me to grow spiritually, mentally, physically or emotionally? Have I developed a solely reactionary approach to life? Have I become stagnant and too accepting of my current reality? You don’t have to live your life at the mercy of your environment or others any longer; use your special ability as a human to change things to better fit your needs.
You deserve to live a life full of more happiness and joy. Find what will make you happy, in all the areas of your life, and start working towards that. You might have to make the tough decision to let go and cut some negative people out of your life. You might need to change jobs, cities or passions. You might need to work to change your thought patterns or your attitude and approach to life.
You might be saying that those things are not easy to change and you would be right, but they are POSSIBLE to do if you are serious about change. If you are fully committed to finding more happiness and joy in your life, tough decisions of change must be made.
The essence of life is growth; do whatever is necessary to ensure your continual growth.
