It Is Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been – George Eliot

“I regret not doing this sooner.” “I once had so many dreams.” “I never got to accomplish this and that.”

These phrases are often expressed amongst those who are elderly or those who feel their dreams can never be achieved. While it is best to try to accomplish things at an early age and when we feel in tip-top shape, one should never lose faith in themselves.

If we start today, we can do whatever we set our minds towards. It may seem like a novel concept that is only talked about in films and literature, but it’s the truth. Accomplishing our dreams doesn’t just have to be some kind of fairy tale that our parents tell us when we’re younger. We really can make our dreams come true.

Many of us face obstacles or deal with struggles that make us question our abilities. You may have found yourself thinking that you have no chance of passing that entrance exam, getting that job, or going on that trip that you keep finding yourself having to put off. None of these things could be further from the truth. Don’t allow your fears to get in the way of making the best of each second, minute, hour, and day! As long as you work hard and refuse to let your obstacles get in the way of all things positive, you can succeed!

About B.W. Ginsburg

For many years, I have struggled with anxiety and know how difficult it is to deal with something so seemingly limiting. I hope that through my writing I can help others realize that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can overcome their obstacles! I currently have blogs at www.gettingthroughanxiety.wordpress.com and www.restinpieceblog.wordpress.com - In addition, I am the author of the fantasy-horror novel, Rest in Piece and short story collection, Abstract Clarity. I also create and sell literary merchandise on teespring at bws-literary-closet and help co-design inspirational merchandise with a friend at travis-and-the-brain

  1. Some goals are easier to achieve in mid-life which is the longest phase of life. My mind and sense of self have never been sharper.

  2. You know, this resonates so well for me in my life. I waited over nine years to start film school, and I’m glad that I finally took those first steps, because everything seemed to fall into place, and I’m much happier for it.

  3. Never too late at any stage, as every day can be a new beginning. And every ending is also another beginning. Thank you for the post 🙂 <3
