Loving People Live in a Loving World. Hostile People Live in a Hostile World. Same World – Wayne Dyer

Turn on the news and notice the conversation. What is this world we live in? According to the news, it is one on fire. Wars, refugees, natural disasters, unstable governments on one side of the spectrum, and the ridiculous dress a Hollywood star is wearing on the other. Turn off the news and walk the neighborhood we live in. What is this world we live in?

For some of us, the neighborhood we live in may be a very far place from all of the fire the news speaks of. For others, the news speaks of a truth we could only wish is a dream. Objectively, we are all part of this same world; the only difference is which part of the planet’s ground is beneath us. Subjectively, we are all part of this same world; the only difference is which part of the fire we believe we are burning in.

What is this world we live in? A world created by the realities we have all created. Realities loving people have created to live in a loving world. Where we are one race, one planet, and one love. Where a religion, a skin color, and a sex are the differences we celebrate and learn from. Where love is, and will forever be.

What is this world we live in? A world created by the realities we have all created. Realities hostile people have created to live in a hostile world. Where we are separated by beliefs, ego, and ignorance. Where fear robs hope and breeds hate for one another.

What is this world we live? Our choice. Whatever we choose, it’s the same world. And when we choose, consider creating a reality where the only fire that burns, is the one spreading love.

  1. Nice post. We see world through our eyes and interpret using our mind. If we are in a bad mood, everything looks bad. On a good day, if find the world beautiful. Word remains the same, we evolve. Coming to news that we see, bad news sells better than good news. If 10 channels put their microscope to focus on a bad deed and transmit it to a billion people, it may appear world is coming to an end. I am not saying bad things do not happen. But it may not be all that bad.
