Your Life Becomes the Story You Tell Yourself. Change the Story You Tell. Change Your Life – Karen Salmansohn

Your dream life begins with imagination. What you imagine is what you can create. Whatever story you want for yourself should be the story you’re telling yourself. But are you? Are you going along with the story you think you deserve or the one someone else has written for you?

No matter what, it’s never too late to rewrite the story. Start on chapter one – or even the introduction! Make the story go wherever it needs to, where you want it to.

Include everything and anything you could possibly want in life, and what you would like to get out of life. Make some beautiful people your co-characters – let yourself go places you’ve always wanted to see and experience things that will enrich your story self.

You see, what starts in the story continues in your life. So make sure you’ve got a good story going, and you will also have a satisfying conclusion in the end.

About Johanna Rosberg

For years, I have lived by the rule that nothing is too big or too scary to do; anything that anyone else can do, I can do, too. And now, since about a year back, I have decided to make it my life mission to make you understand your abilities and your strengths, to help you live the life you've always dreamed of. It's time we take over that steering wheel of life! It's time we start living our lives and not just waiting for "other stuff" to happen! Join me in my journey, and please, share yours with me over at www.johannarosberg.wordpress.com

  1. I totally love this post. <3 <3

  2. When life changes beyond recognition because you woke from a coma after a horrible accident, telling a new story is not an option. Be sure to make it a happy story, one that you can live with forever.

    • I’m not entirely sure what you mean, but what I mean with this post is that we have the opportunity to choose how we view the world, and if we’re not happy, we can adjust things more to our liking with the help of our imagination. Yes, in some situations it is much harder to do this, but we also always have a choice as to how we deal with the situations in front of us. Maybe that coma (for instance) is the first chapter of a different kind of story!

      • Johanna, I apologize for the late reply. I love your post. I have re-read it and still love your idea. I truly meant to reinforce your post and I am sorry to have caused any confusion. Thank you for your reply. Wishing you only the best.

  3. I really like the message in this post. I am currently writing and rewriting my story both literally and figuratively. I saw you liked one of my blog posts and I appreciate it. I will be following your blog which looks a lot nicer than mine!
